Great news from LibertyBus, our operation in Jersey, where the LibertyBus Information Team has won the Parish of St Helier Transport Excellence Customer Service awardues, which was formally announced last week during the Jersey Post Customer Service awards which took place at the Pomme D’or Hotel, Jersey.

Speaking just after the awards ceremony, Francesca Rotheram, Marketing Manager, LibertyBus said ‘The LibertyBus information team have worked very hard over the last two years to ensure that the customer is always put first. On many occasions they have demonstrated excellent customer service skills and have really gone the extra mile to assist passengers.’

The awards, which are voted by the public of Jersey, were split into twelve categories this year. Over 7,000 nominations were received over the six week voting period, which is a record since the event began four years ago. The judges reviewed all of the nominations and put forward three finalists in each category.

LibertyBus also had another finalist in the Parish of St Helier Transport Excellence award. Luis Marques, Service Delivery Manager at LibertyBus also was selected by the judges as a finalist for his strong customer service skills.

Kevin Hart, General Manager, LibertyBus commented ‘The Customer Service Awards set a benchmark for excellence in customer service in Jersey. The competition was stronger than ever this year and it is a significant achievement for information team and Luis Marques to be honoured’.
