Lambeth and Southwark Community Transport (LaSCoT) and HCT have merged.  The combined service will guarantee stable and continuous community transport provision in Lambeth, Southwark and Hackney and provide a number of service expansion opportunities which will benefit local residents.

Geoff Reid, Director of LaSCoT says, "now that our original funding from Cross River Partnership has run out the merger will enable us to build on our success over the last five years and ensure that LaSCoT has a sustainable future for the benefit of the residents and community organisations of the two boroughs."

Dai Powell, Chief Executive of HCT is equally enthusiastic about the merger.  "By bringing the skills and expertise of the two organisations together we will be able to expand the range of services we supply whilst ensuring that service users remain at the forefront of everything we do.
